Comments
|
• You will be
impressed by the dimensions (a square kilometre) but even
more by the striking beauty Angkor Wat.
• Your appreciation of Angkor will be much greater if you
have background to the religious traditions of the Khmers. I
suggest that you read my chapters « religion » and « history
» but I will help you with a great pleasure to sharpen your
knowledge on the spot.
• The hot hours between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm have to be
avoided for the following reasons :
- The stones reflect light and heath
- The crowd is much more important
• I recommend to visit this site at the end of your tour, to
keep it as a « final display ». |
