This gateway in the clouds
thrived until the mid 1970 when the destructive
Khmer rouges came along. After their surrender and
despite a wild deforestation operated by the army,
Bokor is still a proud mountain where nature remains
enchantress and wild : the plateau is a sanctuary
for wild fauna and flora. It is now dedicated to
really become a national park.
