The Ratanakiri
province is in full contrast to the rest of Cambodia.
This hilly region in the North East of Cambodia, between
Laos and Vietnam is sparsely inhabited, mainly by Khmer Leu
tribes (Jaraï 20 %, Kreung 20 % et Tampoun 25 %). They are
maintaining their traditional way of life in a genuine
landscape of lakes, waterfalls and jungle. For centuries, in
their ancestral forest they scarcely have enough to live on
by hunting and by itinerant farming.
